Driving to the burner love-feast, I pat time on my thigh, singing “gold-dust at my feet” on the stars-falling farm road among cornfields. Each of the party-goers was a crashed meteor still glowing. Our heart- breaks might burn up and die away if we plan to cold plunge this together winter.
